Join the team of Eating Recovery Center and nationally known, highly experienced and professional individuals led by Dr. Ken Weiner and Dr. Rick Bishop. Our urban center has a retreat-like atmosphere – which balances secure, medical recovery with a safe, inspiring environment in which patients can make and maintain change.
Training, supervision and work experience at Eating Recovery Center prepares clinical staff to attain certification as a Certified Eating Disordered Specialist.
Program Therapists – Provide psycho-education, group therapy, meal therapy, activity therapy for inpatient and partial hospitalization treatment. Min 2 years post-MA experience. Expressive arts therapists (movement, art and music) encouraged to apply.
Primary Therapists – Provide individual therapy, coordinate treatment plans, provide insurance utilization review, and facilitate group therapy. Licensed Ph.D. or MA, Min 4 year post-MA experience.
Family Therapists – Provide weekly family therapy and multi-family therapy groups as part of interdisciplinary team. Licensed Ph.D. or MA, Min 4 year post-MA experience.
Intake Coordinators – Receive all incoming client, family and professional inquiries. Be supportive to those in crisis by walking potential clients through each step of the admissions process, conducting assessments and verifying their insurance. Min BA and 2 years experience.
Outpatient Therapists – Provide individual and group therapy. Licensed Ph.D. or MA, Min 4 year post-MA experience.
Dietary Supervisor – Supervise dietary aspect of program including supervision of dieticians, meal planning, patient education and patient nutritional wellness. Registered Dieticians, Min 4 years supervisory experience.
Dieticians – Provide nutritional assessment and counseling to all levels of care, R.D., Min 2 years experience.
Registered Nurses – Provide 24 hour Medical and Psychiatric care of inpatient population and nursing supervision of partial hospitalization population. Min. 2 years experience.
Psych Techs - Provide assistance to the RN in the care of the inpatient population. Has completed a 4 year program in a mental health field, i.e., psychology, social work, etc. Does not need ED experience.
Unit Secretary - Assist nursing staff in maintaining efficient and effective operations on the unit. Provides information and communication services to visitors and staff. BA or 2 years previous experience. Medical or behavioral health setting a plus.
Head Chef - plan, prepare and deliver food service according to Hospital/Health Dept Standards and helping to make Eating Recovery Center a center of excellence with outstanding menu, food quality and presentation.
Sous Chef - assists Head Chef in delivering an outstanding food service.
Chief Financial Officer – A seasoned professional to administer, direct and coordinate all activities related to financial operations of the Center. Recommend, develop and implement policies, procedures and guidelines necessary for internal financial control. Lead the finance team including management, evaluation and supervision of employees. Min. BS/BA in Accounting/Business Administration. CPA certification and/or MBA preferred. 3 years experience in psychiatric hospital financial administration/leadership.
Executive Assistant/Office Manager – Provide administrative support to ensure the smooth operation of the Administrator’s office – this includes regular and recurring tasks such as expense reporting, the organization and maintenance of filing systems and calendars, as well as more complex tasks such as the preparation of special reports, studies and proposals which require research and interpretation with little supervision and/or instruction. BA with 5 years experience working with high level executive. Supervise administrative assistants and receptionists. Healthcare experience a plus but not essential.
Accountant /HR Manager - Assist CFO, Pay AP, Payroll, and Oversee Human Resources. Eventually these two jobs will be separated and a second person will be hired. First person hired can choose which position to continue in (Accounting or HR).
Billing Manager - Supervise Account Representatives, follow-up with billing/collections, initiate single case agreements and service contracts, meet with patients/families at admission to arrange payment for treatment.
Account Representatives - Process claims, billing, and follow-up with billing concerns presented by family, center or third party providers
Receptionists - Receive visitors to the center, handle phones, support Outpatient Program by receiving co-pays and scheduling appointments. Provide Administrative Support.
Administrative Assistants - Provide administrative support to individual clinicians and to the whole treatment program, preparing charts, patient handbooks, patient schedules, helping patients get oriented to the center on their first day, helping the center run efficiently and beautifully.
